The repair services that Hydrex provides will facilitate any owner or vessel manager to control, predict and more easily deal with unexpected problems relating to the ‘underwater’ functioning of the vessel.

Our complete service consists of periodic all-year-round monitoring by technical diving teams to inspect, assess, advise and carry out actions that need to be taken. Considered preventive action can be far more effective and save significant time and money rather than simply waiting for breakdown to occur.

The alternative service offered, while the vessel is still in situ or at sea is the immediate repair or replacement of non-functional underwater equipment (thrusters, stern tube seals etc.), impact and corrosion repair, hull cleaning and one-off inspections. These projects are managed from conception, design and construction of equipment all the way through to repair or replacement as needed.

We use our special “mobdock” or “mobile mini dry dock” technique to perform underwater repairs. Mobdocks are versatile and highly adaptable. They can be big or small and used for a variety of tasks. We use them to create a safe, dry environment underwater so that quality work can be carried out within the mobdock in conditions similar to those of being above water.
