Pump services

Hydrex provides a worldwide fast response quality service as specialists in the supply and operation of emergency pumping equipment. We have cost-effective solutions for all sorts of circumstances from inland flooding to routine cargo discharge or marine casualties (including fuel and cargo removal from deep sunken wrecks).

Our pumps come with their own power-packs, operating independently of any other power source.

Pump services are also available for use in the petro-chemical industry. The supply of these services provides a fast solution that enables emergency situations to be dealt with according to strict safety standards. Our pump specialists can remove liquid cargo, ranging from molasses to mud, chemicals to vegetable oil or simply water ballast from ships, tankers or sunken ships.

Our pump service division has pumps, power-packs and accessories available for use at short notice.

Whatever the need

Flood containment

• we can evacuate water at a rate of up to 3000 m3 per hour with each pump providing a fast and high volume clearance capacity.

Hydraulic diesel power-packs

• diesel driven, explosion proof, hydraulic power-packs enable on-site operation without the need of any additional power source.

Pump systems

• all types of stainless steel pumps which can be specially adapted to suit all needs are available.

Cargo hoses

• certified rubber and stainless steel hoses for chemical, gas or other liquid transfers can be provided.

Adapters and reducers

• we have steel adapters and reducers from 150 lbs to 300 lbs.

Booster pumps

• centrifugal, diesel and hydraulically driven emergency booster pumps are ready on a fast response basis. For thick liquids we have positive drive displacement pumps with diameters of 4", 6" and 8" and centrifugal pumps for flowing liquids or water.

Cargo recovery from casualties or wrecks

• for the specialist removal of liquid cargo from sunken ships, hot tap machines are available including booster pumps, heating equipment and special hose pipes and connectors.
